Our FTSE-250 client is looking for a conference producer to work on this incredibly high-profile portfolio. Events are held in US, South America, Asia and the Middle East- perfect for an ambitious and hardworking globe trotter.

Responsibilities

  • Produce 6 to 8 events per year
  • Conduct robust customer insight
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key industry players and associations
  • Own customer insight
  • Responsibility for performance against profit, revenue and delegate number targets 
  • Understand how event portfolio aligns with wider divisional objectives
  • Analyse the target market for each event and identify potential new audiences
  • Identify and recruit leading speakers for your events
  • Write clear actionable event briefs for marketers and salespeople
  • Provide inputs to marketing for website content and other promotional activities
  • Contribute to full event plans to be used to guide all team activities
  • Project manage events throughout their lifecycle
  • Run events on site and act as the “face of the event”
  • Establish and maintain advisory boards with key industry contacts
  • Represent the company in business development meetings and research trips

 

Person - Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent desk research skills, able to synthesise large amounts of information
  • Ability to conduct effective research calls and face to face meetings
  • Good writing skills to produce detailed agendas and to write marketing copy
  • Commercial acumen to develop growth plans for events
  • Influencing skills to engage with and persuade speakers and sponsors
  • Able to work to deadlines and calm under pressure
  • Good attention to detail
  • Educated to degree level

 

Salary: £32,000
