Head of Delegate Sales


£30,000 - 40,000 basic plus generous commission and bonuses!


A world-leading, London based media company with an excellent 25-year track record are looking for an experienced Head of Delegate Sales/Head of Telesales to join their expanding team. You will manage a ten strong team dedicated to selling conference tickets to senior level business executives.  

Their portfolio of market leading events and best-in-class sales and marketing platform enables them to identify, market to, and sell tickets to delegates across the globe.

We’re looking for a driven, organised, money orientated individual with a genuine interest in all things business, outstanding sales skills ability to optimize the performance of the sales team. Our platforms and processes ensure only in-bound qualified leads are called following successful outbound marketing campaigns.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Drive the team to hit – and exceed - monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Develop the skill sets of the telesales team with a view to progressing them into further roles within the business
  • Manage under-performance and improve results


About you:

  • Outstanding organisational skills to coordinate and manage a portfolio of 60+ events annually
  • Analytical mindset to assess datasets and make informed decisions regarding telesales operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with divisional heads across the business
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and organise time efficiently
  • Money-motivated with a determined outlook and a strong drive for results
  • Self-motivated with a thirst for developing the team, processes and systems
