As the Senior Content Manager, you will be driving the content for 2 flagship exhibitions, establishing excellent relationships with speakers whilst working with the Event Director to drive the future strategic vision of the shows.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities   

  • You will generate content (written, video, digital) throughout the event cycle, leveraging relationships with speakers, supporters, sponsors, exhibitors and other relevant organisations
  • Oversight of the delivery of all exhibition content elements including speaker recruitment and engagement, onsite theatre programme delivery, written and online content, and partner content
  • Manage, mentor and support the Content Executive
  • Provide copy and copywriting support for website, event guide, email activity, social media and general marketing collateral
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Director and sales team to create compelling, sales-driven copy for a range of platforms

The Candidate 

  • You will be educated to degree level, preferably in UK politics or a related subject
  • At least 2 years’ proven track record of producing content for high quality, commercially successful expos and/or large-scale conferences/events
  • Good understanding of the UK public sector, government departments and public policy
  • Willingness to be flexible and versatile and take on additional tasks and responsibilities when appropriate
  • The ability to thrive in a challenging, fast paced and high-pressure environment
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills, good attention to detail and proofreading skills as well as the ability to work to deadlines
