Digital media group who set the pace for change within the UK newspaper industry is seeking a proactive and resourceful Marketing Manager to help drive a portfolio of shows, conferences and bespoke business events.

The organisation plays a part in shaping the global news agenda and offer a diverse portfolio of events including sports, cyber security, political events, and women in business! Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager is ultimately responsible for growing registrations, sales, and commercial revenue.

The role will suit a confident, and independent marketer with experience of the full marketing mix, and a passion for live events and providing excellent customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ B2B events marketing experience and be skilled in digital advertising, email marketing, and PPC. Key Tasks & Responsibilities   

  • Set suitable strategies for segmentation and personalisation via digital marketing techniques and channels
  • Create marketing plans that align with your objectives and product goals
  • Manage cross channel integration and optimisation for events
  • Guide and support Marketing Executives to foster best practice within the team
  • Set and execute the marketing strategy to ensure attendee and revenue targets are achieved

The Candidate

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in B2B events
  •  Proven ability to create and implement effective B2B digital marketing campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great stakeholder management both internally and externally
  • A strong creative flair underpinned with hard core technical abilities
  • Outstanding planning and organising ability
