UK’s leading large-scale events company for the Public Sector is seeking an Exhibitions Operations Manager to hit the ground running and manage and lead a portfolio of Exhibitions.  

For two decades the organisation have provided innovative, thought-provoking and insightful events for industry experts to form partnerships and network. The business is entering a positive period of change in culture and structure and requires an experienced and resilient Operations Manager.   

You’ll be responsible for a large budget with over 200 exhibitors, and report to the Director and senior management on the overall success and operations of a portfolio of exhibitions. It’s a great opportunity for an Exhibition Operations Manager to take the next step up and line manage and support the continued development of an Operations Executive.

Key Duties

  • Complete Budget Management including planning, forecasting, and proposing costs and post event financial analysis     
  • Managing official suppliers and venues
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and provide excellent customer service
  • Line management of one Operations Executive
  • Control of all General Exhibition and Operational Tasks and create new initiatives for future development  

The Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2B commercial exhibitions  
  • Must have experience of Health & Safety policies and procedure and IOSH qualification
  • Some line management experience is preferable but not essential
  • A confident, can-do approach who can multitask 
  • Must be resilient, hardworking and able to work autonomously and lead the onsite delivery for events
