Delegate Sales Manager - Energy sector    
£30k basic - OTE £ 45 plus in first year  This company is the name behind many of the world's major oil and gas conferences and gas exhibitions including Gastec with delegate revenues in excess of £3m. They have a portfolio of exceptionally strong events that are all number 1 in their respective spaces. As the role of a Delegate Sales Manager your responsibilities will include - *defining the delegate sales strategies and implementing a plan for each event *actively managing and delivering the budgeted delegate revenue *managing and being part of a telesales effort to capitalize on this marketing activity *building relationships with key stakeholders *ensuring all sales targets are met and ensure motivation is kept high. You will be a confident telesales executive with an excellent telephone manner and previous experience of working in a target driven sales environment. You will be working with International clients and be responsible for generating revenue and closing business over the telephone. This is not a typical high volume telesales role (15 to 20 calls per day) and would be rewarded very well on commission levels. You must have good proven track record in sales, be eager and passionate to learn more about the Conference Industry. Primarily and crucially you must be able to drive forward new business as well as handling existing accounts with a view to improving revenues. £30-35k + commission OTE 50 Plus  Rare opportunity to join a leading professional congress organiser as a Sponsorship Sales Manager with responsibility for driving the sales of sponsorship packages for a range of medical conferences and congresses. This is a newly created position due to expansion in the international medical conference portfolio and the Sponsorship Sales Manager will work closely with the managing director and small conference team to drive sales revenue. Candidates should have proven experience in the medical or pharmaceutical sectors, ideally in sponsorship sales or a business development role. Sponsorship Executives/Managers     
£25k to £35k – OTE £35 -£60k++  The Sponsorship Executives/Managers are expected to: - Research and develop a brief sales strategy for each conference. This research will be from the in-house database, research and marketing briefs, journals, newspapers and discussion with consultants and relevant members of the team, etc. It is the responsibility of the individual to attain monthly sales targets as set by the relevant Director. Encourage long term relationships with clients wherever possible to assist generation of repeat business and multi-conference bookings. Present professional proposals, contracts and any other written communications to clients for sponsorship opportunities that are in keeping with the nature of the conference and the business brand. Research any related exhibitions and publications for leads and news that will assist in the efficient selling of sponsorship and enhance their industry knowledge. Assist in the guesting up of conferences. Salary package will depend on the level of experience gained, this will range from a basic of £25k to £35k – OTE £35 -£60k++ These roles will suit individuals that want to be part of an extremely success and professional conference company where talent is recognised with excellent long term opportunity. Candidates MUST have a proven sponsorship sales background.
